У статті описано специфіку старообрядницьких поселень сучасного Жмеринського району в контексті культурних традицій Поділля. Висвітлено вплив історичних подій на спосіб життя та культурні традиції даних громад. Досліджено їх внесок у формування адміністративно-територіального устрою Жмеринського району (зокрема, на утворення нових поселень та їх районування), особливості будівництва і провідні види діяльності – традиційні для старообрядців загалом та специфічні, властиві тільки для даного регіону.Посилання
